This Brazilian soapstone is dark gray in color with the barest hint of green. All soapstone is generally treated with mineral oil, which will darken the surface somewhat. These slabs are shown untreated. The bundle given a polished finish has a shiny surface that is very smooth to the touch. The bundle given a honed finish has a matte surface that is also smooth to the touch.
